“Think about how much the Apocalypse would suck for a minute. I mean really think about it. Monsters would roam free. Everybody who’s not a huge jerk is raptured, leaving a world full of assholes. And you somehow still have to make it from the beginning to end of the day without dying of starvation, disease, or demon attack. Pretty terrible right?”
At this point in the story, Katrina’s dragged her frenemy’s sick boyfriend across the dreaded black zone, fought a pack of three headed dogs, faced off against a minotaur, and finally made it into the hospital. This page starts after they’ve been waiting for hours to see a doctor.
This is the continuation of the previous page. Katrina’s sick of waiting to see a doctor, the sick person she dragged through Hell and back is dying, and she’s sick of it. Now, on the flip side, the nurse has seen this thousands of times before and sees Katrina as just another worried patient. Big mistake.
After fighting monsters for nearly two straight issues, Katrina makes easy work of the frail nurse in order to get her way.
