Oh, Hell, Written by G. Wassil, Set in a world created by G. Wassil and Michael Connell, Art by Dave Hamann, Color by Michael Birkhofer
15 years ago she was left to die in a dumpster. Today, she’s troubled, tattooed, never fit in and changed her name to “ZOEL” for no other reason than to piss off her parents. When they ship her off to The Academy, nobody knows that the school is in Hell and “Zoel” isn’t going to fit in there either. To make matters worse, the school is pass/fail. Capture the soul a fellow mortal and you and begin down the path to demonhood and immortality – fail and your soul feeds the fire of the Pit for eternity.
Zoel’s exhausted parents try to reassure her and themselves that this school will be good for her. Zoel isn’t buying any of it and offers up one last act of defiance.
We meet two of the other major characters in Zoel’s new life: Zipper, Hell’s newest bad boy, and Alesse, the cheerleader accustomed to always getting whatever she wants.
Zoel shows her uncanny ability to make friends wherever she goes.
