Indie Comics Magazine #7

Official Press Release

August’s Previews is in comic shops today, and Indie Comics Magazine #7 is there, under Aazurn Publishing, to order! Look for the half page ad at the beginning of the Comics section!

We have you to thank for our three years in Diamond! Few thought we’d make it this far, but complete stories, variety and quality have won us your trust. We are, truly, one of the only short story anthologies to keep publishing, and it is all because you continue to enjoy us. Thank you!

In this issue, see Tom Kelly‘s cage fighting “Masher,” monstrous Tupilak and mystical tattoos in two Terry Cronin tales, and Paul Bradford‘s assassin in “Silent But Deadly!”

Marta Tanrikulu offers mystery in “The Case of the Lost Offspring,” and Chris Berg presents a sci-fi zombie in “Slices: The Dillinger Experiment!”

Plus, Kim Mey-Loehng‘s “I Got Fired on My 40th Birthday,” Gary Scott Beatty‘s jazz tale “The Bridge,” and Devastating Roulette Studios‘ cosmic “He!”

If you feel compelled to forward this email to friends, please do! Let them know about the video preview at

I talked to a friend the other day who actually said to me, “I thought all comic books were continued!” What are we, soap operas? Help combat this mega-issue crossover madness and tell your friends about Indie Comics Magazine #7!

We have no huge overprint, no digital version and no back issue sales here, so Indie Comics Magazine #7 is available ONLY at your local and online comic book shops! We feature a few major online retailers on our website, if you don’t have a neighborhood comic shop. It is best to order from August’s Previews, because some Indie Comics Magazine issues are now hard to find!

Enjoy! Keep it done-in-one, keep it interesting — keep it indie!

– Gary Scott Beatty, head honcho here at Indie Comics Magazine
