Official Press Release
2012 was a big year for Tumble Creek Entertainment. We built on existing properties and forged ahead in new areas. In case you missed any of our shenanigans, here are a few highlights:
CONFLICT FILMS -”In Conflict with Kismet” was bought by a new cable channel, Aspire (owned by Magic Johnson), making that the third cable network to pick up the film. “Kismet” began airing on Aspire’s series “ABFF Independent” in August. Comcast subscribers can check their local listings for the next showing. Conflict Films also produced its first music video, which I directed, “Make Stew” by artist Chris White for WIYH Records. “Make Stew” was released Thanksgiving Day. Click here to watch it!
DANI’S DVR – Launched in October with the Fall television season, Dani’s DVR is our entertainment blog. It is dedicated to passionate reviews of an eclectic mix of shows – from Scandal to The Walking Dead, from Homeland to General Hospital. There are nearly 200 ‘recaps’ on the site so far, pushing Dani’s DVR’s readership to grow quickly and steadily. Visit Dani’s DVR now to catch up on your favorite shows and join the discussion!
TUMBLE CREEK PRESS – We were out and about at major shows like WonderCon in Anaheim, Comic-Con in San Diego, and Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles. In addition to new trading cards, apparel, books and limited edition prints, we released the trade paperback of our flagship series “13″ – a gorgeous 120 page collection of the first five issues. After initially selling out, the book is back in print. Pick it up at the Tumble Creek General Store!
TUMBLE CREEK BOOKS – Our imprint for “books without pictures,” announced that its first title would be “Precedent”. Precedent, a novel about two opposing attorneys invested in burying the same secret, will be available in print and e-book. Advance Review Copies and previews went out in summer/fall of 2012. Reviewers can request an ARC by clicking here. The official release date for the public will be announced shortly.
